eagulls / eagulls
eagulls have been simmering away on the post-punk backburner since their second album ‘ullages’ was released in 2016. however, homage has to be paid to the prowess of their debut long-player put out in 2014. snarling vocals are shrouded in a slurry of reverb punctuated by an elegiac bass and rumbling drums. the record’s greyscale atmosphere sits alongside its overcast artwork moulding an overcast mis-en-scene. one best listened to on a gloomy afternoon!
